Publisher's Description:
Task List - Task List provides an easy way for you to manage your list of everyday tasks, making your life easier and more organized. Desktop resident at all times, all your important issues will always be at your fingertips! Designed for easy access and with a minimum number of mouse clicks for all of its options, adding, deleting, setting alarms and changing priorities has never been easier! Add a task by clicking the '+' icon, enter description, choose a priority when needed and click OK. That´s it! To save space, your task description is truncated on the desktop, and to see all of it as a tool tip just move the mouse cursor over each task. Your tasks can also be easily moved and positioned anywhere on your desktop.. High priority tasks (red button) are automatically sorted to always reside at the top of the list. Any task set to trigger an alarm will do so by vibrating on the desktop, optionally giving off a sound as they do so. There is also a print option, whereby you will get a handy printout copy of all your tasks. Task List is logical and very intuitive, but help is still just a mouse click away. Just click the '?' icon to access the on page manual! List of Changes:Version 1.1 from 2006-12-23

Installed on Windows 7, but does not work. Only see a very small line (like the top of a window caption) which I can drag. But no task list, no settings. Also, the home site seems to be dead; not ONE link on http://www.desklabs.se works ...

visually unappealing (sorry, how a program 'looks' is very important to me) and takes up too much space on the desktop.

Quite original and close to what I have been looking for. Individual sorting, and skin application would make a huge difference though!

I could not get it to work on my machine (Windows Vista Business x64). It showed up as a tiny little bar with no buttons. All I could get to show up was the context menu.

Merely okay. Not skinnable, not configurable, generally lacking. Just use Rainlender, it's skinnable and configuable.

I hope it keeps evolving
The program is simple enough. Some caveats, however: * I have a multi screen configuration. The application won't go anywhere away from the first screen. * Only two priority levels is just not enough. * Also, the up and down arrows are slightly counter intuitive, since they just change priority - if you have 3 low priority tasks and click up on the last one, it will jump to the top; if you click down on the top one, nothing happens. * the fact that the list needs to be locked to be able to move it around is also not very intuitive
Other than these points, I think it works just fine and is very close to what I was looking for :)

Looks good at first.
This task list program is almost what I needed, but here are the downers: 1. The look and feel of the program can't be configured (font size, color, etc.) 2. Bulky and ugly design. 3. The most important: Suprisingly consumes 16MB of RAM for simple program.
